PPF questions
Know what's protecting your paint.
What is paint protection film?
PPF is a transparent thermoplastic urethane film applied over painted surfaces. It absorbs road-debris impact, resists environmental damage, and uses a self-healing top coat that lets light scratches disappear with heat.
How long does PPF last?
Premium LLumar and STEK films typically last 7–10 years with proper care. Warranty terms vary by the film and coverage package you choose.
Will PPF change my paint color?
Gloss PPF is built for optical clarity and is nearly invisible once cured. Matte and satin films are available when you do want to change the finish.
Should I get PPF or ceramic coating?
They do different jobs. PPF is physical armor against rock chips and scratches; ceramic coating adds gloss, UV and chemical resistance, and easier washing. Many drivers put film on the impact zones and coat the whole vehicle.
